The Swabby



I'm pretty busy outside of work, so this is only a line drawing...and I did it while in Boston on vacation - just trying to say I'm really excited about the blog but couldn't do more at the moment for this challenge. I had fun with it though. I actually dig Treasure Planet and this was kind of a style tribute in a small way to that, along with Disney's Hercules. It's obviously only "slightly" exaggerated of course:)

    I knew you were packin some heat under those sweaters man haha. This is a pretty sweet start though, are you gonna give it a color pass or just leave it as is?

    I've been wanting to run through various digital painting tuts for literally about a year and a half now, which is why I love the blog, because it will help motivate me to do those. Then I will feel more comfortable actually painting on these art challenge images. So this current pirate image will probably stay just as line art for now. thanks for the comments man!
